About Donatas Rumšas

Donatas Rumšas, born on March 21, 1988 in Lithuania, is a 36-year-old Lithuanian football referee. He made his debut in the A Lyga, the top tier of Lithuanian football, on August 17, 2011, in the match between Banga Gargždai and Klaipėda, which ended 3-1. 

Internationally, Rumšas has officiated matches in European competitions such as the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League. His debut in the group stage of a European competition took place on October 29, 2020, when he refereed the match between Omonia Nicosia and PSV Eindhoven, which ended 1-2. 

Regarding his refereeing style, he is considered a referee who enforces the rules firmly, maintains control of the game, and ensures fair competition.
