Harm Osmers, born on January 28, 1985 in Bremen, Germany, is a German football referee who has had a distinguished career in national and international refereeing. He started his career as a referee in 2001 and has been officiating for the German Football Association (DFB) since 2009. In 2011, he was promoted to officiate matches in the 2. Bundesliga, and in 2016, he made his debut in the Bundesliga, the top-tier of German football.
Internationally, Osmers was appointed as a FIFA referee in 2020, allowing him to officiate in European competitions such as the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Europa League, and the UEFA Conference League. In April 2022, he was selected to referee the final of the UEFA Youth League, a significant milestone in his career.
To date, he has officiated over 120 Bundesliga matches and more than 90 in the 2. Bundesliga. His sports club affiliation is with SV Baden, and he resides in Hannover, Germany. Professionally, he holds a degree in Business Administration and Investments.
In addition to his on-field duties, Osmers shares his decision-making and stress management experience through conferences and talks, focused on transferring lessons from sports arbitration to the business and personal sectors.
