Michael Fabbri, born in 1983 in Faenza, is an Italian Serie A referee with a balanced and communicative style. He made his debut in the top category in 2013 and has been a FIFA referee since 2019. He knows how to impose authority without excessively resorting to cards, although he does not hesitate to apply them when necessary.
In May 2023, he was part of the refereeing team in the Coppa Italia final between Fiorentina and Inter, confirming his prestige. He has also officiated international matches, such as an intense AEK-Paok in Greece in 2022.
Throughout his career, he has made some controversial decisions, but his consistency keeps him in the elite. In the 2024-2025 season, he has refereed 11 matches, with an average of 4.5 yellow cards per game and two expulsions. With experience and character, Fabbri continues to establish himself as a reliable referee in Italian football.
