Christian Dingert, born on July 14, 1980 in Thallichtenberg, Germany, is a German football referee. He started his refereeing career in 1997 and has been a referee for the German Football Association (DFB) since 2002. In 2004, he was promoted to officiate matches in the 2nd Bundesliga, and in 2010, he made his debut in the Bundesliga, the top tier of German football.
Internationally, Dingert was appointed a FIFA referee in 2013, allowing him to officiate in European competitions such as the UEFA Europa League. He has also refereed matches in the Euro Cup qualifiers and the UEFA Nations League.
To date, he has refereed over 190 matches in the Bundesliga and over 140 in the 2nd Bundesliga. His sports association is with the TSG Burg Lichtenberg club, and he resides in Lebecksmühle, Germany. Professionally, he is a Graduate in Public Administration.
