Carlos Andrés Gariano, born on December 2, 1985 in San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina, is a football referee who has gained recognition at the national level. Although originally from Bariloche, he moved to Rosario at the age of three, where he began his refereeing training at 18, complemented by studies in physical education teaching.
He made his debut in the Argentine First Division on December 19, 2020, in a match between Patronato and Aldosivi for the Diego Armando Maradona Cup. Since then, he has officiated numerous matches in the Professional League, the Argentine Cup, and the National First Division.
In December 2024, he was included in the list of international referees for 2025 FIFA, representing Argentina in international competitions.
Gariano's refereeing style is characterized by consistent application of the rules and effective communication with players, allowing him to maintain control during matches. His career reflects a commitment to impartiality and fair play in sports.
