The BC Place Stadium is an iconic multi-purpose venue located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Opened on June 19, 1983, it initially stood out for having the world's largest inflatable roof at that time.

Between 2009 and 2011, the stadium underwent a significant renovation that included replacing its original roof with a retractable one supported by cables, making it the largest of its kind in the world.

With a capacity to accommodate 54,500 spectators, BC Place has hosted major events such as the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2010 Winter Olympics and the final of the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup.

Currently, it is the home of the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League (CFL) and the Vancouver Whitecaps FC of Major League Soccer (MLS)
