The Samsun 19 Mayıs Stadium, opened in 2017, is a modern sports venue located in the district of Tekkeköy, in Samsun, Turkey. With a capacity for 33,919 spectators, it is the home of Samsunspor, a team competing in the Turkish Süper Lig.
This stadium replaced the old Samsun 19 Mayıs, which was demolished in 2018. The first official match it hosted was the 2017 Turkish Super Cup.
Designed by Bahadır Kul Architects, the stadium features state-of-the-art facilities and meets UEFA standards. In addition to football matches, it has hosted international events, such as the 2017 Deaflympics.
A notable curiosity is that the stadium suffered minor damage after the 2023 Turkey-Syria earthquake, despite being located far from the epicenter in the province of Kahramanmaraş.
The Samsun 19 Mayıs Stadium has become a symbol of sports in the Black Sea region, offering fans a high-quality football experience.
