The Etihad Stadium, officially known as the City of Manchester Stadium, is the home of Manchester City Football Club, located in Manchester, England. Opened in 2002 for the Commonwealth Games, it was converted for football in 2003. It currently has a capacity of 53,400 spectators, making it one of the largest stadiums in the country. 

In 2015, an expansion took place increasing its capacity to 55,097 seats, solidifying it as the fourth largest stadium in the Premier League at that time. 

In 2023, the club began a new phase of expansion in the north stand, aiming to increase the total capacity to almost 62,000 spectators. This expansion, with an investment of £300 million, will include a new stand with 7,900 additional seats, areas for families, zones for young fans, and renovated dressing rooms.
