The Kadir Has Şehir Stadium, opened on March 8, 2009, is a multifunctional stadium located in Kayseri, Turkey. With a capacity for 32,864 spectators, it is the home of the football teams Kayserispor and Kayseri Erciyesspor. This modern venue is part of the Atatürk Sports Complex and replaced the old Kayseri Atatürk Stadium, in use since the 1960s.
The stadium stands out for its contemporary design and advanced facilities. It has 52 VIP boxes, a café for 80 people, a restaurant for 100 diners, and a 5,000 square meter shopping center. In addition, it has an LED lighting system controlled by a computer that allows light shows in various configurations.
A notable feature is its underground heating system, composed of 26 kilometers of pipes, which keeps the 105 x 68 meters pitch at optimal conditions throughout the year. The stadium also hosts Turkey's largest and most advanced giant screen, with an area of 69 square meters, used for video projections, live broadcasts, and advertisements.
Since its opening, the Kadir Has Şehir Stadium has hosted prominent events, including matches of the Turkish national team and the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2013. Its strategic location, just 5 kilometers from the center of Kayseri and with easy access to the city's tram system, facilitates the arrival of local fans and visitors.
