Toumba Stadium, known in Greek as Γήπεδο Τούμπας, is a football stadium located in Thessaloniki, Greece, in the Toumba district, from which it gets its name. Inaugurated on September 6, 1959, it has been the home of PAOK FC club since then.
With a capacity of 28,703 spectators, the stadium has undergone several renovations and expansions over the years, including extensions in 1962, 1965, and 1972, and renovations in 1985, 1998, 2003-2004, and 2013. The attendance record was set on December 19, 1976, when 45,252 fans attended a match between PAOK and AEK Athens.
The Toumba Stadium is known for its vibrant and passionate atmosphere, especially during local derbies and European competition matches. In addition to football events, it has been used for other sporting and cultural purposes, including its use as a training center during the 2004 Athens Olympics.
In June 2022, the PAOK administration presented a project for the construction of a new stadium on the same site, with an estimated capacity of 41,926 spectators. The new stadium is expected to be completed by 2026, and during its construction, PAOK will likely play at the Kaftanzoglio Stadium.
