The Stade Pierre-Mauroy, located in Villeneuve-d’Ascq, in the European Metropolis of Lille, France, is a multifunctional stadium opened in August 2012. With a capacity of 50,186 spectators, it is the fourth largest stadium in the country and serves as the main venue for LOSC Lille, the city's professional football team.

One of the most distinctive features of the stadium is its retractable roof, which can be opened or closed in approximately 15 minutes, allowing events to be held in various weather conditions. Additionally, it has an innovative configuration called “Boîte à Spectacles”, where half of the field elevates and slides over the other half, creating an adaptable space for events like basketball games, tennis matches, or concerts, with a variable capacity of 6,900 to 30,000 seats.

Since its opening, the Stade Pierre-Mauroy has hosted high-level sports events, including matches of the UEFA Euro 2016, the Rugby World Cup 2023, and will be one of the venues for basketball and handball tournaments at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. It has also hosted finals of the Davis Cup and the EuroBasket 2015, establishing itself as a benchmark in the organization of international competitions.

In June 2022, the stadium was named Decathlon Arena – Stade Pierre-Mauroy due to a sponsorship agreement with the renowned sports goods company Decathlon, whose origins are in the Lille region. This sponsorship strengthens the stadium’s connection with the local community and its commitment to sports.
