The Carlos Belmonte Stadium, located in Albacete, Castilla-La Mancha, is a symbol of football in La Mancha and the home of Albacete Balompié since its inauguration on September 9, 1960. Designed by the then mayor and architect Carlos Belmonte González, the stadium was built in record time on land provided by the City Council, with an initial capacity of 9,230 spectators. The inaugural match saw the local team face Sevilla FC during the Albacete Fair.

Throughout its history, the stadium has undergone various renovations to meet the demands of professional football. In the 70s, lighting towers and a roof were added to the main stand. After Albacete's promotion to La Liga in 1991, the capacity was increased to 15,000 spectators. In 1998, the athletics tracks were removed and new changing rooms were built, reaching a current capacity of 17,524 seats

The Carlos Belmonte has been the venue for important sporting events, including five matches of the Spanish national football team, all with victories and no goals conceded. In addition, it has hosted concerts by international artists like Sting and Maná, with attendances exceeding 20,000.

In 2017, with the arrival of the Skyline International ownership, new aesthetic and functional reforms were undertaken, modernizing changing rooms, press room, and VIP areas. Currently, the stadium continues its modernization process, including the pending installation of a video scoreboard.
