The MHPArena, located in the Bad Cannstatt district northeast of Stuttgart, Germany, is the stadium where VfB Stuttgart plays its home matches. Inaugurated on July 23, 1933, it has undergone various renovations and name changes throughout its history. Originally known as Adolf-Hitler-Kampfbahn during the Nazi period, it was renamed Neckarstadion after World War II, and later as Gottlieb-Daimler-Stadion and Mercedes-Benz Arena, until adopting its current name in July 2023.

With a capacity for 60,441 spectators, the MHPArena has been the venue for highly relevant sports events. It has hosted matches of the FIFA World Cup in 1974 and 2006, as well as Eurocup matches in 1988 and 2024. In addition, it was the venue for the finals of the European Cup in 1959 and 1988, consolidating itself as an emblematic stadium in the European football scene.

A prominent feature of the stadium is its polyester-coated PVC membrane roof, supported by a steel structure that surrounds the entire venue. This cover, added during the renovation prior to the 1993 World Athletics Championship, not only provides protection to spectators but also brings a modern and distinctive aesthetic to the stadium.

Among the curiosities of the MHPArena, it is highlighted that during the remodeling works in 2009, 18 undetonated bombs from World War II were found at the construction site, underlining the deep history of the place. In addition, the stadium has witnessed attendance records, such as the match between Germany and Switzerland in 1950, which attracted 103,000 spectators, the highest attendance in the history of the venue.
