The Patalino Stadium, formerly known as Domingos Carrilho Patalino Field, is a football stadium located in Elvas, Portugal. Inaugurated on January 5, 1930, it has been the main venue of O Elvas Clube Alentejano de Desportos since its foundation in 1947. The stadium pays tribute to Domingos Carrilho Demétrio, nicknamed "Patalino," a prominent local footballer and top scorer in the club's history.
Originally, the stadium had a capacity for 15,200 spectators, with most of the seats being standing. However, following recent renovations, seats were installed in all stands, reducing the capacity to approximately 6,000 seats. These improvements included the installation of a new state-of-the-art lighting system and the replacement of synthetic turf with natural grass, significantly enhancing the conditions for players and fans.
The Patalino Stadium is part of the Elvas Municipal Sports Complex, which also houses other football fields, such as the Pedro Barrena Field and the António Semedo "O Tigre Alentejano" Field, mainly used for training and matches of the club's youth categories. Additionally, the complex includes the Elvas Municipal Athletics Stadium, equipped with an eight-lane athletics track and a capacity for 2,200 spectators.
