Stadium Information

The Broadfield Stadium, opened in 1997, is the home of Crawley Town Football Club, located in Crawley, West Sussex, England. With a capacity of 6,134 spectators, it is a relatively modern and functional stadium. 

The stadium features a main stand on the west side, housing the club's essential facilities, and two covered stands behind each goal. In 2012, a new east stand with 2,000 seats was added to meet league requirements, increasing the total capacity to 5,500 at that time. 

Over the years, Broadfield Stadium has had several names due to sponsorship deals, including Checkatrade.com Stadium and The People's Pension Stadium. However, in the 2022/23 season, the stadium reverted to its original name. 

In addition to hosting Crawley Town FC matches, the stadium has been the venue for Sealand's national team matches and the Brighton & Hove Albion women's team. Its compact and modern design offers a close and intimate experience for fans, maintaining a vibrant atmosphere during matches. 

Despite its modest size, Broadfield Stadium has witnessed significant moments in Crawley Town FC's history, including their promotion to the Football League in 2011 and their recent promotion to League One in the 2024/25 season.
