The Municipal Stadium of El Plantío, located in Burgos, Spain, is the home of Burgos Football Club. Inaugurated on September 13, 1964, this stadium has witnessed numerous historic moments of Burgos football.
With a capacity for 12,194 spectators, El Plantío is characterized by its English-style design, with two main stands of 95 meters long: Tribune and Sideline, as well as the North and South stands, all of them covered.
Throughout its history, the stadium has undergone various renovations. In 1977, the North and South stands were added, and in 1987, the changing rooms and lower areas were renovated. During the summer of 1991, coinciding with the presence of Real Burgos CF in La Liga, seats were installed in the stands with the team's colors.
El Plantío is part of a larger sports complex that includes facilities such as the Burgos Coliseum and municipal pools, establishing itself as a hub of sports in the city.
