The Municipal Stadium of A Malata, inaugurated on August 29, 1993, is the home of Racing Club de Ferrol and is located in the city of Ferrol, in the province of La Coruña, Galicia. With a capacity for 11,669 spectators, all seats are covered, offering comfort to attendees. The stadium is located in the sports area of A Malata, next to the Ferrol estuary and the Punta Arnela fairgrounds.
Designed by a team of architects led by Juan Pérez López de Gamarra, the stadium was built to replace the old Manuel Rivera Stadium. Since its inauguration, it has witnessed numerous sports events, including matches of the Spanish national team and various editions of the Concepción Arenal Trophy.
In recent years, A Malata has undergone several renovations to meet the requirements of the Professional Football League. Among the improvements is the upgrading of the lighting system to LED technology, with a joint investment from the Ferrol Town Hall and the Provincial Government of La Coruña. These reforms aim to enhance the fan experience and ensure that the stadium meets modern standards.
