The Stade Fred Aubert is a football stadium located in Saint-Brieuc, in the region of Brittany, France. Inaugurated in 1940, it has been the home of Stade Briochin since its opening. The stadium is named after Fred Aubert, who was the club president and passed away in 1940.
Over the years, the stadium has undergone several renovations and expansions. In 1957, the main stand was built, and in 1990 extensions were made that increased the stadium's capacity to 10,600 spectators. However, over time and various modifications, the current capacity has been reduced to 3,416 seats.
The Stade Fred Aubert has two covered lateral stands, located on the north and south sides of the field. The seats are blue and yellow, reflecting the traditional colors of Stade Briochin. In addition to hosting the men's team matches, the stadium has hosted games of the French women's team and the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in 2018.
In recent years, the stadium has been the subject of renovation projects, including the demolition of the main stand in 2023 to make way for a new structure with 1,079 seats, with a planned completion date of October 2024.
