Stadium Information

The Konya Büyükşehir Belediye Stadyumu, opened in September 2014, is a modern football stadium located in the city of Konya, Turkey. With a capacity for 42,000 spectators, this venue replaces the old Konya Atatürk Stadium and serves as the main venue of the Konyaspor club, which competes in the Turkish Super Lig. 

Designed by architect Bahadır Kul, the stadium stands out for its geometric facade composed of triangles in green and white tones, reflecting the colors of the local team and evoking the image of a football. This structure not only provides a distinctive aesthetic, but also allows for projections and light shows during evening events. 

In addition to hosting Konyaspor matches, the stadium has been the venue for matches of the Turkish national team, including qualification matches for the Euro Cup and the World Cup. Its infrastructure complies with UEFA standards, making it an ideal venue for international competitions. 

Among its facilities, the stadium has 55 VIP boxes, three restaurants, and several shops, offering a complete experience to fans. It also has a parking lot with capacity for 1,530 vehicles, facilitating access and comfort for attendees.
