The Yeni Sivas 4 Eylul Stadium, inaugurated on August 21, 2016, is the home stadium of Sivasspor, located in Sivas, Turkey. With a capacity for 27,734 spectators and 52 VIP boxes, this modern venue replaced the old 4 Eylul Stadium, offering state-of-the-art facilities for fans. 

Designed by architect Bahadir Kul, the stadium stands out for being Turkey's first 'eco-stadium.' Its design takes into account the rigorous climatic conditions of Sivas, characterized by cold winters and hot summers. The opaque outer structure reduces the impact of cold winds from the north, and a double skin on the north side, with an air chamber between the layers, acts as thermal insulation. During summer, perforations open between the layers to allow the circulation of hot air, helping to control the temperature and ventilation of the stadium. 

In addition, the stadium is equipped with active energy systems that allow it to generate a large part of its own energy. For example, during the summer months, with 10 hours of daily sunlight and standard solar panels producing 150 watts per square meter, the stadium can generate up to 798,000 watts of energy per day. 

The Yeni Sivas 4 Eylul Stadium is not only a symbol of football in Sivas, but also an example of sustainable architecture and adaptation to the local climate, offering a modern and comfortable experience for sports fans.
