Brisbane Road, currently known as Gaughan Group Stadium for sponsorship reasons, is the football stadium located in Leyton, East London, England. Since 1937, it has been the home of Leyton Orient Football Club, a team competing in the English Football League. Before that date, the stadium was used by the amateur team Leyton F.C..
Opened in the 1890s, Brisbane Road has undergone numerous renovations throughout its history. The most recent one, in December 2023, involved a sponsorship agreement with the local company Gaughan Group, resulting in the current name of the stadium.
The stadium has a capacity of 9,271 spectators and consists of four main stands:
• Justin Edinburgh Stand (West Stand): With a capacity for 2,918 fans, it houses the club's administrative offices, the official store, and the main facilities for players and coaching staff.
• East Stand: The oldest stand, with a capacity of 3,636 spectators, is used to accommodate both local and visiting supporters.
• Incite Consulting Community North Stand: Inaugurated for the 2007-08 season, this stand has a seating capacity of 1,381 and is mainly intended for families.
• Tommy Johnston South Stand: Built in 1999 and renamed in honor of the club's all-time top scorer, it has 1,336 seats and is exclusive to local fans.
The stadium has been known by several names due to sponsorship agreements, including Matchroom Stadium and Breyer Group Stadium. In addition to Leyton Orient matches, Brisbane Road has hosted prominent events such as the final of the NextGen Series in 2012, a European tournament for elite under-19 teams.
