The Estádio Cidade de Barcelos is a football stadium located in Barcelos, Portugal, which serves as the home ground of Gil Vicente FC. Inaugurated on May 30, 2004, the stadium has a capacity for 12,046 spectators, distributed across four stands, all covered. The inaugural match was a friendly in which Gil Vicente was defeated 2-1 by Nacional de Montevideo.

Located at the junction of the parishes of Barcelos, Vila Frescaínha (S. Martinho and S. Pedro) and Vila Boa, the stadium is easily accessible via the Estrada Nacional 103, which connects Barcelos with Viana do Castelo. The Estádio Cidade de Barcelos has UEFA Category C, allowing it to host international matches, including games of the Portuguese national team.

As for its facilities, the stadium has two covered parking lots: P1, with an entrance from the east stand and space for 67 vehicles, and P2, accessible from the south stand, with room for 48 vehicles. Additionally, there are 273 exterior parking spaces next to the east facade and 117 in the area adjacent to the west facade. For buses, 13 spaces have been set up, including an exclusive garage with direct entrance from the south stand for team vehicles.

An interesting curiosity is that the Estádio Cidade de Barcelos replaced the old Campo Adelino Ribeiro Novo, which was Gil Vicente FC's home for approximately 70 years. This change represented a significant advancement in the city's sports infrastructure, aligning with the demands of modern professional football and reflecting the ambitions of both the club and the local community.
