The Ciudad de Cumana Stadium is located in Ayacucho, Peru, and is the main sports venue in this Andean region. It was inaugurated in 1969 and owes its name to the Venezuelan city of Cumaná, as a gesture of brotherhood between both locations. Since then, it has been a key point for the development of sports in southern Peru, especially in football.

This stadium is the home of Ayacucho Fútbol Club, which has participated in both the Peruvian First Division and international tournaments such as the Copa Sudamericana. It has an approximate capacity of 12,000 spectators, although it has undergone improvements and expansions over time, including remodeling work on the main stand and the lighting system for night competitions.

A notable feature of Ciudad de Cumaná is its location at over 2,700 meters above sea level, which represents a physical challenge for visiting teams and an important strategic factor for the local club. Additionally, its natural grass has been meticulously cared for to remain in good condition despite the high-altitude weather conditions.
