The Estádio José Alvalade, inaugurated on August 6, 2003, is the home of Sporting Clube de Portugal, located in Lisbon. With a capacity for 50,095 spectators, this UEFA five-star stadium combines functionality and aesthetics, being a source of pride for the club's fans.

Designed by the architect Tomás Taveira, the stadium is part of the Alvalade XXI complex, which includes a shopping center, cinemas, a health center, offices, residential areas, the club's museum, and the official store. Its inauguration was marked by a friendly match in which Sporting beat Manchester United 3-1, a match that also meant the farewell of Cristiano Ronaldo before joining the English club.

The stadium has been the venue for prominent events, such as matches of the 2004 European Championship and the final stages of the 2019-2020 UEFA Champions League. In addition, it features the Multidesportivo Sporting, a multi-purpose arena adjacent that hosts various sporting disciplines of the club.

The Estádio José Alvalade is not only a symbol of Portuguese football, but also an architectural and cultural reference in Lisbon, offering a comprehensive experience that goes beyond sports.
