The Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino, opened on May 14, 1933, is an iconic multipurpose stadium located in Turin, Italy. Originally known as Stadio Municipale Benito Mussolini, it was built to host the Littorial Games and the International Student Championships of 1933. Over time, it has witnessed numerous sports and cultural events of relevance.

With a current capacity of 28,177 spectators, the stadium has undergone several renovations throughout its history. In 2006, it hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the XX Winter Olympic Games, which involved a significant renovation of its facilities. Subsequently, in 2016, it was given its current name in honor of the legendary Grande Torino team of the 1940s.

Over the years, the stadium has been home to the city's two main clubs: Torino FC and Juventus FC. Both teams played their matches at this venue until 1990, when they moved to Stadio delle Alpi. However, following the renovations for the 2006 Olympics, Torino FC returned to the stadium, which has since been its main headquarters.

In addition to football events, the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino has hosted concerts by renowned artists such as The Rolling Stones, The Police, and Madonna, establishing itself as an important cultural center in Turin. A notable curiosity is that, in an Italian national team match played on May 11, 1947, 10 of the 11 starting players belonged to Grande Torino, a testament to the team's dominance at that time.
