The Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium, inaugurated on September 7, 1958, is the home of Sevilla Football Club, located in the Nervión neighborhood, Seville. With a capacity of 42,714 spectators, it is the ninth largest stadium in Spain and the third in Andalusia.
Throughout its history, it has been the stage for notable events, such as the 1982 World Cup semifinal between West Germany and France, and the 1986 European Cup final between FC Barcelona and Steaua Bucharest. More recently, it hosted the 2022 UEFA Europa League final between Eintracht Frankfurt and Rangers.
Between 2015 and 2017, the stadium underwent a comprehensive remodeling that included the installation of a new façade with LED lighting, seat renovations, and improvements in access and services for fans.
The Sánchez-Pizjuán is known for its vibrant atmosphere and mosaic on the main façade, which has become a symbol of the club. Additionally, the Spanish national team maintains an undefeated record in this stadium, with 20 wins and 5 draws in 25 matches played.
