The Stade de la Meinau, opened in 1914, is the stadium of the Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace, located in Strasbourg, France. With a current capacity of 26,109 spectators, it has been the venue for notable events such as a match of the 1938 FIFA World Cup, two matches of the 1984 European Championship, and the final of the 1988 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup

In May 2019, an ambitious renovation project valued at 100 million euros was announced, with the goal of increasing the stadium's capacity to 32,300 seats. The works were scheduled to begin in the summer of 2022 and finish in 2025.

However, in December 2023, it was reported that the project's budget increased to 160 million euros, and the completion date was postponed to July 2026. This renovation will not only expand the capacity, but also incorporate ecological solutions in its design, reaffirming the stadium's commitment to sustainability.

The Stade de la Meinau is not only a symbol of football in Strasbourg, but also an example of modernization and respect for the environment in sports facilities.
