The Turf Moor, opened on February 17, 1883, is the home stadium of Burnley Football Club, located in Burnley, Lancashire, England. With a capacity of 21,944 spectators, it is the second oldest stadium in continuous use in English professional football, only surpassed by Deepdale, the home of Preston North End.
The stadium consists of four main stands: the Bob Lord Stand, the Cricket Field Stand, the North Stand, and the Jimmy McIlroy Stand. Over the years, Turf Moor has undergone various renovations to enhance the fan experience and comply with safety regulations. One of the most significant refurbishments took place in the 1990s, when the Longside and Bee Hole End stands were replaced by seated structures, following the recommendations of the Taylor Report.
