Stadium Information

The Europa-Park Stadion is the modern home of SC Freiburg, located in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany. Inaugurated on October 7, 2021, this stadium replaced the historic Dreisamstadion, which had been the club's venue since 1954. With a capacity for 34,700 spectators, the Europa-Park Stadion stands out as one of the most prominent sports facilities in the region. 

Designed by the architecture firm HPP Architekten, the stadium features a rectangular structure with continuous upper and lower stands, and a main stand located behind the goal on the south side. A notable feature is that approximately 36% of the seats are standing areas, fostering a vibrant atmosphere during matches. 

The stadium's name comes from a collaboration with Europa-Park, one of Europe's largest theme parks, located in Rust, near Freiburg. This partnership reflects the connection between sports and entertainment in the region. With its contemporary design and focus on sustainability, the Europa-Park Stadion not only provides a top-notch football experience but also stands out as an example of modern architecture in sports facilities.
