The Bet365 Stadium, located in Stoke-on-Trent, is the home of Stoke City Football Club since its opening in 1997. Built to replace the old Victoria Ground, it was initially named Britannia Stadium, until in 2016 it adopted its current name due to sponsorship from Bet365. It has a capacity of 30,089 spectators and features four main stands.
This stadium was built on an old mine and houses the ashes of the legendary Sir Stanley Matthews, as well as a statue in his honor. It has hosted notable events, such as concerts by Elton John and Bon Jovi, and international matches.
Throughout the years, it has been renovated several times, highlighting the expansion in 2017 and improvements in 2022, including new seats and LED technology for light shows. Interestingly, it is famous for its cold atmosphere, even in summer.
