Anfield is the iconic stadium of Liverpool Football Club, located in Liverpool, England. Inaugurated in 1884, it was initially home to Everton FC until 1892, when a dispute led to its relocation and allowed the founding of Liverpool FC by John Houlding. Since then, Anfield has witnessed countless historic moments in football.

The stadium has a capacity of 61,276 spectators, making it the fifth largest in England. It is comprised of four stands: the Spion Kop, the Main Stand, the Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand, and the Anfield Road End. The Spion Kop, known for its passionate fans, is a single-tier stand that has been instrumental in creating the unique atmosphere of Anfield. The Main Stand, following a renovation completed in 2016, is one of the largest single-tier stands in Europe, accommodating 21,000 spectators.

Over the years, Anfield has been the stage for notable events, including numerous memorable European nights where the atmosphere has played a crucial role in the team's performance. The stadium also hosts tributes to legendary club figures, such as the Shankly and Paisley gates, named in honor of iconic managers Bill Shankly and Bob Paisley.

One of the most notable curiosities is the famous sign “This is Anfield” located in the tunnel leading to the pitch. Originally installed to intimidate opponents and motivate local players, current manager Jürgen Klopp banned his players from touching it until they won a major trophy. Following the conquest of the Champions League in 2019, the tradition was reinstated, underscoring the importance of history and traditions in the club.
