Stadium Information

The Municipal Sports Stadium of Azuaga, located in the town of Azuaga, Badajoz, is home to the Azuaga Sports Club since its foundation in 1972. This venue has a capacity for approximately 1,500 spectators and an artificial turf surface, ideal for the development of modern football.

Inaugurated in 1974, the stadium recently celebrated its 50th anniversary, establishing itself as a sports emblem in the region. Throughout its history, it has been the setting for important matches, especially in the Third Division and promotion playoff games.

Prior to the foundation of CD Azuaga, the town already had a football tradition since 1917, when the Racing Club Arsense de Azuaga was created, making it the fourth city in Extremadura to form a football team.
