The Stade Océane, located in Le Havre, Normandy, is a multifunctional stadium inaugurated on July 12, 2012. Designed by the SCAU studios (France) and KSS Architects (United Kingdom), it replaced the old Stade Jules Deschaseaux as the home of Le Havre Athletic Club (HAC), one of the oldest clubs in France. With a capacity of 25,178 spectators, it is the largest stadium in Normandy and was built on the grounds of a former railway classification yard.

One of its most outstanding features is its bright blue outer wrap, made of a translucent ETFE membrane, symbolizing the sea and sky, emblematic elements of the port city. In addition, the Stade Océane is recognized as the first stadium in Europe with positive energy, thanks to its 1,500 m² of solar panels, rainwater recovery systems, and other sustainable solutions that allow it to produce more energy than it consumes.

The stadium has hosted highly relevant events, including seven matches of the FIFA Women's World Cup 2019, including the exciting round of 16 between France and Brazil. It has also hosted concerts by international artists like Johnny Hallyday and international rugby and football events. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the venue was temporarily adapted as a vaccination center.

Interestingly, the Stade Océane houses the 1872 Stadium Hotel, a 4-star hotel integrated into the stadium facilities, offering rooms with views of the field, a unique innovation in France. It also features the Stadium Bar & Grill restaurant, shops, event spaces, and VIP areas, establishing itself as a hub for sports, culture, and entertainment in the region.
