With a capacity of 36,178 spectators for football matches, it is the home of OGC Nice and has replaced the old Stade Municipal du Ray.

This stadium has been the venue for major sporting events, including matches of Euro 2016, the FIFA Women's World Cup 2019, and the Rugby World Cup 2023. Additionally, it has hosted concerts by renowned artists like Céline Dion, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, and The Weeknd, showcasing its versatility as a venue for various shows.

A notable feature of the Allianz Riviera is its ecological design. It boasts 4,000 solar panels covering 7,000 m², which contributes to its energy efficiency. Moreover, it houses the National Museum of Sport, inaugurated in June 2014, occupying 5,000 m² and displaying a collection of 50,000 objects and 200,000 documents related to French sports history.

Located in the Saint-Isidore neighborhood, the stadium is easily accessible from downtown Nice via tram lines T2 and T3, as well as various bus routes. Its integration into the local community and its commitment to sustainability make it a standout among modern European stadiums.
