The Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris, popularly known as "Marassi" due to the neighborhood where it is located, is an iconic stadium in Genoa, Italy. Inaugurated on January 22, 1911, it is the oldest stadium in use in the country. With a capacity of 33,205 spectators, it is the home of the football clubs Genoa C.F.C. and U.C. Sampdoria.

Originally, the stadium had an athletics track that was removed in the 1920s to focus exclusively on football. In 1933, it was renamed in honor of Luigi Ferraris, former captain of Genoa and hero of World War I. For the FIFA World Cup 1990, the stadium was practically rebuilt following the design of the architect Vittorio Gregotti, giving it its characteristic red brick structure and towers in the corners.

The "Marassi" has been the setting for numerous notable events, including matches of the 1934 and 1990 FIFA World Cup. Furthermore, it hosts the exciting "Derby della Lanterna", the local clash between Genoa and Sampdoria.
