The Municipal Stadium José Zorrilla, inaugurated on February 20, 1982, is the home of Real Valladolid Football Club, located in Valladolid, Spain. Built for the 1982 World Cup, the stadium has a capacity of 27,618 spectators and dimensions of 105x68 meters

Throughout its history, the José Zorrilla has hosted prominent events, including matches of the 1982 World Cup and Copa del Rey finals. Recently, on November 16, 2024, it was the venue for an international rugby match between Spain and Fiji, highlighting its versatility as a sports venue.

In 2024, the stadium underwent significant improvements to its exterior appearance, with an investment close to a million euros. These renovations included painting key areas and installing a prominent team logo in purple-violet colors, featuring the number “1928” and a giant “V” in the north end.

However, challenges have been reported in terms of accessibility. In November 2024, the Denon Athletic fan group denounced the access conditions for people with reduced mobility, pointing out the lack of appropriate seats for companions and other difficulties.

The Jose Zorrilla Stadium remains a key pillar for sports in Valladolid, adapting to contemporary needs and hosting a variety of events that enrich the city's cultural and sporting life.
