The Iberoamerican Stadium 2010, also known as Bahía Sur Stadium, is located in San Fernando, Cádiz, Spain. Inaugurated in 1992, it is part of the Bahía Sur Sports Complex and is home to San Fernando Club Deportivo. Originally, the stadium had a capacity of 12,000 spectators, but after a renovation in 2010, this was reduced to 8,000.
In 2010, the stadium hosted the XIV Ibero-American Athletics Championship, which led to a significant renovation. A roof was added to the main stand, new lighting towers were installed, and the sports and media facilities were improved. These improvements modernized the stadium and made it suitable for high-level competitions.
In addition to sports events, the Iberoamerican Stadium 2010 has hosted concerts by renowned artists, such as Sting and Julio Iglesias, establishing itself as a multifunctional space in the region.
In 2024, the San Fernando City Council announced plans for a new renovation of the stadium, with an investment close to 11 million euros. It is expected that the works will start in early 2025 and the project will be completed within a period of 16 months, with the aim of further modernizing the facilities and increasing its capacity.
