The Wembley Stadium, located in the Brent district, northwest of London, is the national stadium of England and one of the most iconic sports venues in the world. Inaugurated on May 19, 2007, it was built on the same site as the old 1923 stadium, known for its twin towers and rich football history. With a capacity of 90,000 spectators, it is the largest stadium in the UK and the second in Europe, surpassed only by Barcelona's Camp Nou. Its architectural design stands out for the 133-meter high steel arch spanning 315 meters in length, which has become a recognizable symbol on the London skyline.

This stadium is the regular home of the England national football team and hosts annually major events such as the FA Cup finals, the Carabao Cup, and the promotion playoffs for the lower divisions of English football. It has also been the venue for important international competitions, including the UEFA Champions League finals in 2011, 2013, and 2024, as well as featured matches during the 2012 London Olympics and Euro 2020

A little-known feature is that Wembley was designed with the ability to host track and field events by a system that would allow the installation of a track around the field, temporarily reducing its capacity to 60,000 spectators. However, this function has never been used, as the athletics competitions of the 2012 Olympics were moved to the Stratford Olympic Stadium.

The stadium is also an important cultural and entertainment center. It has hosted concerts by world-renowned artists such as Adele, who in 2017 gathered 98,000 people, setting a record attendance for a music event at the venue. In 2024, Taylor Swift was honored with a custom guitar for her eight consecutive performances at the stadium during her “Eras Tour”, becoming the first solo artist to achieve such a feat at Wembley.
