The Estadio de la Cerámica, formerly known as El Madrigal, is the home of Villarreal Club de Fútbol and is located in the city of Vila-real, in the province of Castellón, Spain. Inaugurated on June 17, 1923 under the name of Campo del Villarreal, it adopted the name El Madrigal in 1925, referring to the rural area where it was situated. In 2017, the stadium was renamed Estadio de la Cerámica, honoring the ceramic tradition of the region and opening up new economic opportunities for the club.

Throughout its history, the stadium has undergone several renovations to meet the demands of modern football. The most recent renovation, carried out in 2022, gave the stadium a new facade covered with yellow ceramic tiles, a complete roof, and improvements in the interior facilities, establishing it as a modern and functional stadium.

With a capacity for 23,000 spectators, the Estadio de la Cerámica has been the stage for important football events, including European competitions where Villarreal CF has had outstanding performances. It has also hosted matches of the Spanish national team, witnessing memorable days for national football. The stadium also features 30 “Casals Grocs”, exclusive VIP boxes equipped with all amenities, such as air conditioning, television, and catering service, offering a unique experience to the fans.
