Fratton Park is the football stadium of Portsmouth Football Club since its opening in 1899. Located in the port city of Portsmouth, in the district of Milton, it is the only professional stadium on Portsea Island. The stadium was designed by architect Alfred H. Bone, who was also one of the club's founding directors. Interestingly, the name 'Fratton Park' was chosen to suggest proximity to the Fratton district and its train station, although it is actually located in Milton.

Over the years, Fratton Park has undergone various renovations. In the 1920s, renowned architect Archibald Leitch designed a new main stand. In 1956, it became the first stadium in the English league to host a match under floodlights. In 1997, a new stand called 'Fratton End' was opened, and in 1996 the stadium was converted to offer only seating, reducing its maximum capacity. Currently, the stadium has an approximate capacity of 21,100 spectators.

One of the most distinctive features of Fratton Park is its traditional structure, reflecting the rich history of the club and English football. The stadium has four separate stands: the South Stand, the North Stand, the Milton End and the Fratton End. The South Stand still retains elements of Leitch's original design, including unique architectural details that add a special character to the stadium.

In addition to Portsmouth FC matches, Fratton Park has hosted significant events, such as international matches and games during the 1948 Olympic Games. Despite its age, the stadium remains an iconic venue for fans, known for its vibrant atmosphere and the passion of local supporters. In recent years, renovation plans have been carried out to improve facilities and the spectator experience, ensuring that Fratton Park continues to be a cornerstone in Portsmouth's football community.
